“National Women’s Health and Fitness Day” Focuses Attention On Healthy Living For Women Of All Ages

National Women’s Health and Fitness Day, celebrated the last Wednesday in September, is a nation-wide effort to focus attention on the importance of regular exercise and healthy living for women. This day dedicated to women of all ages, and strives to help women — and the women in our lives — learn how to celebrate your body, mind, and well-being, by working towards a stronger and healthier you.

This unique national program is also part of a new National Women’s Health & Fitness Week, held annually during the last week in September.
